We are a small, Chicago based accounting firm that gives personal attention to businesses of all sizes, estates and trusts.

We specialize in taxation and taxation related matters. We also aid our clients with tax planning and business growth. With a staff of experienced CPA's, Enrolled Agents, Bookkeeper's, and Customer Service Specialists, we are prepared to handle all of the needs of your business, estate or trust.

Our method is to build a strong relationship with you, with ethics, trust, teamwork, and accountability as the foundation. We develop a full understanding of your unique situation and the goals that you have. This helps us to customize our strategy to allow you to achieve your financial and tax goals.

We start with your original documents: bank statements, invoices, and canceled checks. We build an airtight accounting system from the ground up. You will sleep at night knowing, should an audit ever occur, everything is in order.

We are a hands-on accounting firm, working very closely with you and your staff to ensure accuracy and timeliness. We focus on customer service, expertise, and accounting ethics. We know that when a client has a question, they need answers fast.

We serve primarily the Chicago area and suburbs, but we also serve clients across the state Illinois.

Christopher Gray Amundson
President & Founder

Mr. Amundson is the creator and founder of our firm. A graduate of The Latin School of Chicago and Depaul University, Mr. Amundson is a third generation Chicago entrepreneur. Upon graduation from DePaul in 1989, he began the first business which would ultimately become Accounting Solutions Ltd. He has concentrated his practice into the areas of public accounting and taxation for small businesses, estates, and trusts.

Mr. Amundson has been an advocate for small business owners and entrepreneurs in the Chicagoland Area for over 15 years. He has successfully represented numerous clients in income, payroll, and sales tax audits before The Internal Revenue Service, The Illinois Department of Revenue, The Illinois Department of Employment Security, and The Chicago Department of Revenue. He is licensed both at the federal and state (Illinois) levels.

Mr. Amundson is also founder and President of The Amundson Group, Inc. which owns over 50,000 square feet of commercial, industrial, retail, and residential property on the north side of Chicago.

Suzanne Wing
Lead Accountant & Head of Taxation Department

Mrs. Wing is a highly skilled CPA with over 20 years of public accounting experience. Prior to joining our firm in December of 2002, Mrs. Wing was employed by many of the top CPA Firms in the city responsible for clients ranging from nursing homes, food distributors, restaurants, professional services, manufacturers, and high-end retail establishments. Her professional background includes financial and taxation preparation. In addition she has participated in review and audit teams for private and publicly traded companies. Her tireless efforts and experience have proved to be not only invaluable to our firm, but also to our clients. Mrs. Wing holds an MBA in Finance from DePaul University and received her CPA credential from The University of Illinois. She is also a member of the Illinois CPA Society.

Lucille Consolino
Bookkeeper & Payroll Specialist

Mrs. Consolino is a veteran bookkeeper with over 30 years of experience in the public and private accounting arenas. Prior to joining our firm in October of 2001, she worked for various small companies and public accounting firms where she processed payroll and payroll tax returns. She has many years of experience in bookkeeping for the manufacturing industry. Lu specializes in extremely detailed and forensic work, especially when working on new or unorganized clients that require her extremely organized touch. As our payroll specialist, she completes payroll checks, payroll tax returns, and annual payroll filings (W-2's & 1099's). As a bookkeeper, she specializes in coding transactions, bank reconciliations, and initial journal entries.

Judith Wegner
Bookkeeper

Mrs. Wegner is a veteran bookkeeper with over 35 years of experience in public and private accounting. Prior to joining our firm in March of 2005, Judy amassed knowledge in the areas of bookkeeping, payroll, and office administration. She has the tireless job of contacting clients to request information, the initial bookkeeping and logging of information, as well as the organization of our filing system. In addition to these duties, she routinely prepares payroll tax returns, annual filings, codes transactions, bank reconciliations, initial journal entries, and special projects.

Julie Amundson
Administrator & Client Services Representative

Mrs. Amundson comes to our firm with a background in office management and administration. She is a 1986 graduate of California State University at Fullerton with a communications degree. Prior to joining the firm in 1998, Julie spent several years in human resources and sales management. This experience was with staffing and marketing firms in both Chicago and California. Mrs. Amundson's duties include customer service, billing, payables, client record documentation, payroll preparation, and assisting the president. Julie's tireless efforts in making sure that our client's questions are answered and that their needs are exceeded, ensure client satisfaction at the highest levels.
